Booking with Time Tours
Online: You will get a 5% discount if you book your day tour through our website. Our day tours can be booked online up to 18 hours before departure.
When you book a tour online, you will receive a confirmation of the booking by email.
Phone: Our day tours can be booked between 8am-5pm, up to 90 minutes prior to tour departure.

Email: Bookings per email email@example.com can be made for all tours up to 18 hours prior to tour departure.
We reserve the right to alter or change the itinerary according to weather and road conditions.
Change of reservation
It is possible to change a day-tour reservation up to 24 hours prior to tour departure free of charge.
All cancellations must go through our office in writing, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellations received outside of the time limits can not be refunded. See cancellation limits here below.
Airport transfers should be cancelled at least 12 hours prior to arrival for a full refund.
Day-tours should be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to arrival for a full refund.
Multi-day-tours, packages and private tours with Time Tours have at least a 10% cancellation fee (see details further below). The cancellation fee covers our cost of cancelling your bookings and payment processing fees. If Time Tours cancels the booking this fee does not apply.
- 28+ days cancellation notice:
- 90% of the total tour price will be refunded and 10% is non-refundable.
- 21-28 days cancellation notice:
- 75% of the total tour price will be refunded and 25% is non-refundable.
- 14-20 days cancellation notice:
- 50% of the total tour price will be refunded and 50% is non-refundable.
- 2-13 days cancellation notice:
- 25% of the total tour price will be refunded and 75% is non-refundable.
- Less than 48-hours cancellation notice:
- No refund will be given for the tour.
Tour departure / Complimentary pick up service / Drop off service
We offer a complimentary pick up service for all our day tours. Passengers are requested to wait at their pick-up location 30 minutes prior to tour departure, please wait until you see our bus arrive or hear our driver or guide call out your name.
Missing the pickup time does not entitle to a refund of the price paid for the tour.
Our driver or guide will always try to contact you if he is unable to find you.
Drop off after day tours is at your hotel or bus-stop, drop off at different location is by request to the driver or guide.
Time Tours operates day-tours in small bus’s or minivans. Because we are small operators on the Icelandic market we might use services from other small tour operators, reason could be that our bus has reached its full capacity or we have to few participants booked on that day. We are cooperating with other small day-tours operators that we trust to handle this task.
Passengers with special needs
If you have any special needs or requests you should notify Time Tours as soon as possible either with email to email@example.com.
We always try to fulfill our customers wishes at all times.
It is permitted to have foldable wheelchairs in our coaches without charge. Passengers that are unable to sit in a standard coach seat must advise the company´s office prior to tour departure.
Safety car seats
We have a limited number of Children’s Safety Car Seats available. These can be provided on request, free of charge.
The safety and comfort of our customers is one of our main goals.
Time Tours reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries or timetables should the necessity arise, including irregularities due to adverse weather or road conditions.
Some tours may require a minimum of participants in order to operate.
No responsibility is taken for losses or expenses due to delay or changes of flights, injury, damaged, negligence, weather, war or other unforeseeable causes.
We operate our tours in small vans or minibus’s that can result in a fully booked tour.
The estimated duration of tours as indicated on our website are standard times and can vary according to road or weather conditions.
The company cannot be made responsible for losses that a passenger may face due to delay, regardless whether the loss is direct or indirect.
